How did you get into Pilates?
I was a dancer, so I started Pilates training since I was 15/16. In college, I studied dance and biology with an interest in physical therapy. I did Pilates for rehab in physical therapy clinics, and I fell in love with it.
Why is Pilates your passion?
It’s everything. It really brings out the happiest version of myself. Pilates is something I am able to focus on, while relieving all other stresses.
Why did you become an instructor?
This company really made me want to become an instructor. I started out as a studio rep, and I saw how happy people were while coming in and leaving. I wanted to be a part of changing someone’s life for the better.
What makes your class sweaty?
I’m never letting you give up in class – I’m always there motivating, cheering, and challenging. I will be getting you to trust yourself and to try something new.
Why do you love teaching at New York Pilates?
The positivity of making the students and staff happy. This is the place I’d come to release stress and anxiety. I love being at NYP!
